As much as I am a closet sap and enjoy a weepfest, the last two films covered that for a bit, I think. So in choosing this weeks title from my backlog of films I felt it was important to take this into account… obviously, this means zombies. Right? It’s obvious. This week I dug up a recent entry into my B movie collection- Navy Seals vs Zombies!
Light & Dark… Black & White… Good & Bad… who would you rather be?
20 JunLast year I wanted to learn more about creating “crazy” characters and utilized social media to reach out to actors, writers, and creators in order to learn the different perspectives. As a mental health professional, I have found that I lose a bit when I watch something as I tend to sit and observe the characters- looking to diagnose, to see their flaws, to learn who they are, etc. Usually I can turn it off and focus on the story but sometimes it is harder than others. Especially after a long day with clients.
Marathons… not just for runners anymore!
18 DecYou know what’s truly sad? Staring at this space does not magically make a post appear. Especially when I get so easily distracted by the marathon of Eureka running on my TV.
Oh… wait. Continue reading
Let’s talk about SPOILERS!!!
24 MayNo, seriously, I want to talk about spoilers.

So what is a spoiler? Continue reading
Do I hear a waltz? Track 2
3 FebI’m back with more music talk! I don’t listen to the radio, so when I find new music it is usually something that’s been recommended to me or a band/singer that I happened upon when out to see someone else. In this post, I want to share my thoughts about the latest from a dear friend as well as some other wonderful CDs. Continue reading
Eureka! There be gold in that there TV show!
17 DecFor years I’ve lived in a bit of a bubble- some of it by choice, most of it due to necessity. I don’t get out to movies often (those things are frickin’ expensive!). I don’t listen to the radio because everything sounds the same (my recent addiction to the broadway channel on my xm is different)(see my post on my eclectic mp3 collection). And I don’t get into too many new shows. I don’t have TV, cable or otherwise, and haven’t gotten decent reception for years… I live on DVDs and what can be found on the internet. So it kills me when people go crazy for a new show. Especially when that show doesn’t magically appear on Hulu etc to give me a chance to watch it too. Continue reading
