Welcome back, Arrowheads! Now that Adrian Chase has been revealed to be Prometheus, things should be better for Team Arrow, yeah? Well, there’s still the tiny problem that Adrian has fleed his witness protection detail, and no one knows where he is. Then there’s Felicity becoming more chummy with the hacker collective HELIX, and that can only explode in her and her friends’ face. On the plus side, no flashbacks this week, so we can get straight to this… Continue reading
I’m a little late on this weeks DVD post but in my defense I have been catching up on a few NetFlix marathons I’m behind on. Surprisingly, I have a lot of options for the letter P in my collection that I have never seen. But I opted to see the most recent one because I needed to know if what I’d heard was true/as bad as I’d been told.
The one DVD in my collection with an O title did not entice me this week, so I went to Amazon Prime to watch the first episode of Oz.
As much as I am a closet sap and enjoy a weepfest, the last two films covered that for a bit, I think. So in choosing this weeks title from my backlog of films I felt it was important to take this into account… obviously, this means zombies. Right? It’s obvious. This week I dug up a recent entry into my B movie collection- Navy Seals vs Zombies!
Welcome back, Arrowheads! Previously, Ollie found himself prisoner of Adrian Chase/Prometheus, and got a lesson as to what kind of man he is, specifically a guy who probably enjoys murdering bad guys. This educational experience really messed with Ollie’s head, so much so that when he was let go by Adrian, he immediately went back to Arrow HQ to tell the Team he’s shutting down the operation. Sure, Ollie has had his little periods of wanting to pack this Green Arrow thing up, but this ordeal seems to have snapped ol’ Oliver Queen. What does this mean for taking down Adrian? Continue reading
I am apparently in a sappy romantic mood following that last one because this weeks DVD is Me Before You. Course, I picked a movie that needed even more kleenex than the last one. Good lord, if I keep this up, I should just buy stock in the company!
This week, the title hiding away on my shelf is bringing an entirely new genre to this series (I think we’ve had one from all the majors now, right?)~ musical! This week, I sat done to watch The Last Five Years. And one thing I will say… bring tissues.
Welcome back, Arrowheads! Oliver Queen finally knows his nemesis this season, Prometheus, is his District Attorney, Adrian Chase! Considering he’s turned his mentor (Talia al Ghul) and a recruit into Team Arrow (Evelyn Sharp) against Ollie, it only makes sense that sooner or later the stakes would be raised. After killing his own wife, Adrian takes Ollie hostage, with plans to break the man. Can the rest of Team Arrow get to their leader in time? More importantly, what is Adrian’s scheme in not killing Ollie? Continue reading
Welcome back, Arrowheads! Oliver and company had their fill of bad guy Prometheus, and so far, have no clue who this guy is. What they don’t know is our Big Bad for the season is Star City’s own District Attorney, Adrian Chase! This helpful yet mildly unstable public servant has a beef with Ollie, and may have another connection to Ollie’s past: being trained by the woman who helped him become the Hood, Talia Al Ghul! Meantime, Felicity is getting in deeper with the computer hacking group HELIX, and Ollie’s current girlfriend, Susan, may have just gotten herself in trouble with Adrian. Let’s see how Ollie reacts to discovering his new buddy is his new bad guy… Continue reading
So… I have to recover from last weeks awful piece of dreck… the palette cleanser of choice is Keanu. For obvious reasons. Or what I would call “obvious reasons”…
