24 JulEh, this is a short one to share- if you haven’t already seen- that my SDCC post written for Action Chick went up recently- wherein I lament the lines, avoid Con Crud, and share what it’s like to attend (for those who’ve never been). Not much else to share in regards to this… I think that this finishes up the SDCC craziness for another year and thus you may now return to regularly scheduled lives. FanGirl Squee… Call me converted
14 JunI am going to get a lot of flack for this post. Go ahead. I’m ready.
So… recently I had the opportunity to spend a wonderful day with my best friend, her kids, and also catch an upcoming film. There were many exciting bonuses to this day as my best friend and I live nearly 100 miles apart and since she has a husband and 4 kids, and I have fulltime school, we don’t get to spend a lot of time together. Add to that the fact that as a capper on our day we got to take her girls to see their first movie screening! (Obviously not their first movie- they are 14, 12, and 11- but their first time seeing a movie before it opens) Heck, we even got to participate in the focus group after the movie!
But none of that explains my status as a convert. Continue reading
