You may not know this but I recently completed my dissertation and with it, pretty much my doctorate. I mean, just one piddly little internship to go! This has opened up a ton of free time that I had previously (for the last several years) used to focus on researching and writing my dissertation. Time that could’ve been spent watching TV! but alas, was used to write a ridiculously long document that demonstrates that our legal system is broken… or something like that. Continue reading
Television Graveyard- plot 8, The Gates
19 MayOne of the great things about the end of the “normal” TV season is that it gives a chance to sit back and enjoy, via Hulu or Netflix, a show that ended years ago or that you may have missed. In my case, I have been enjoying a short lived supernatural series from 2010- The Gates.
Television Bloodbath!
13 MayOver the last week, the networks have announced which shows are canceled, renewed, and which pilots made the cut. It’s been both stressful and entertaining to watch. The stress came from waiting to hear if Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. had been renewed (it was). The entertainment from not really being attached to the shows that got canceled.
A PENNY DREADFUL premiere review for your thoughts
11 MayStewart here…
Being so busy watching other quality shows, I rarely have time to indulge in finding new ones. But up until the time of hearing the premiere was available to watch, did not much about it. Continue reading

ARROW Season 2×21, “City of Blood” recap
1 MayWelcome back, Arrow-heads! What you need to know so far: Roy’s still kept comatose, Thea’s not handling life very well, Sara’s taken off to see an old friend, and Slade just killed Moira in front of Oliver and Thea! So by default, Sebastian Blood’s become mayor of Starling City (I guess) and we got an army of Mirakuru-enhanced men waiting to be let out. So how is Ollie going to handle this one last fatal blow from Slade? Continue reading
A change in character
29 AprIf you don’t know, several weeks ago Fox announced the new line-up for the Fantastic Four reboot and it got people talking. A lot. Not in the same way people talked about Ben Affleck being cast as the next Bruce Wayne/Batman, this had nothing to do with the actors credentials, it was because the actor in question is black. Continue reading
