Television Bloodbath!

Over the last week, the networks have announced which shows are canceled, renewed, and which pilots made the cut. It’s been both stressful and entertaining to watch. The stress came from waiting to hear if Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. had been renewed (it was). The entertainment from not really being attached to the shows that got canceled.

Here is a list the Hollywood Reporter has put together and is keeping updated in regards to the pilots that were announced as possible new shows.

I am pretty happy with the pilots that have been picked up- specifically, Flash and Gotham. It’s going to be a comic heavy fall. Interesting to see which shows we take on to recap or write about regularly (like you haven’t noticed we have constant postings about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Arrow.

I feel like I should be sad that the Supernatural spinoff didn’t get picked up, but honestly- the magic of the original is the boys themselves. Without Jared and Jensen I don’t think a show would work.
