But not to unintentionally leave you loyal NerdLush readers out of the loop, I thought it’d be fun to discuss my thoughts on the show so far here. Like my previous SHIELD post, let’s look at the good and bad that has come out of the last nine episodes. First, the good: Continue reading

Baby, It’s Cold Outside

12 Dec

Weather has finally arrived on the west coast, with rain and wind (and probably snow for those living in higher elevations) battering the state. It’s the perfect day to stay bundled on the couch and watch movies. Or marathon a TV show. Whichever floats your boat.

But what to watch? Continue reading

ARROW Season 3×09, “The Climb” recap

10 Dec

arrow302

Welcome back, Arrowheads, to the last Arrow episode of 2014! For the majority of this season, Team Arrow has been trying to find the killer of their friend, Sara Lance, and despite all the likely suspects (like the not dead Malcolm Merlyn), have come up with a cold case. There is one lead regarding some unknown DNA samples that Felicity has dropped off to STAR Labs, but hopefully an answer will come from that, and soon. They still have to deal with Ra’s al Ghul and the League of Assassins breathing down their doorstep for answers too, and they are a little less subtle in their methods of investigation. Let’s see how that becomes a problem for everyone this episode, shall we? Continue reading

Mid-season hiatus… What now????

8 Dec

The holidays are great, right? Pretty decorations, presents, family, food, and lots of shiny baubles to distract me! But… the holidays also mean that your favorite TV shows are taking a break. Sometimes it’s a short break- just til January- but many shows today are breaking til March and allowing other shows to sneak into their timeslot.  Continue reading

Sometimes, a network would slip in something that wasn’t a cartoon, like Power Rangers or Superboy, but it was still a silly bit of family fun. Then FOX would run a couple of movies in the afternoon- usually things that today we’d classify as Syfy channel original films; things like Night of the LepusContinue reading
