Welcome back, Arrow-heads!  Sebastian Blood’s running for mayor and has just removed one problem in Laurel Lance.  Now she’s revealed to be a pill-popper and been fired from the DA’s office.  Also, Roy’s attempt to be a vigilante ends badly, which leaves Ollie as Arrow with one option: train him to control his super-anger.  After all, he did so well with Slade when he got the Mirakuru in him.  You know, the guy who’s missing an eye and nursing a serious hard-on for revenge against Ollie.  Oh right, that’s not good.  Sooo…. Well, pregnant Lana accepted Lex’s proposal for marriage, which is great news for Lex, and not necessarily for anyone else.  Clark also has discovered a new ally in his hunt for Zoners and teamed up with an all-star super team in their attempt to destroy Lex’s 33.1 bases.  So the big question is if Clark will pull a Dustin Hoffman from The Graduate and steal Lana away from the wedding?  Um, the short answer is “sort of”, but the longer answer lies here… Continue reading →

Where we last left Clark Kent was him trying to capture or destroy the escapees from the Phantom Zone.  What happened is that we’ve discovered someone else is hunting them too, but whether they’re a new friend or new foe for Clark to worry about is still unknown (but this mystery player does like Oreos for certain).  Plus, Lex proposed to Lana, but we don’t know what her answer is yet.  And Lionel seems to be a good guy, but really, does anyone reading this believe that?  However, read on for answers to all of that and other twists and turns… Continue reading →

We started season six with Clark escaping from the Phantom Zone to defeat Zod possessed Lex.  While stopping Zod/Lex went well, his escape did allow some of the baddies in the Phantom Zone to arrive on Earth.  Speaking of bad news for Clark, Lana has moved in with Lex and they seem to be getting really cozy.  On the other hand, Clark finds he has some help in the crime-fighting department with the arrival of Oliver Queen in Metropolis, who happens to also dabble in running around fighting crime in a green hood and shooting arrows.  So, let’s see what happens now… Continue reading →

Welcome to the sixth season of Smallville minicaps!  So, last season brought a lot of high and lows for recent high school graduate Clark Kent.  Besides getting a shiny new kryptonian designed fortress in the arctic, Clark has gone off to college.  But all that gets derailed by many cataclysmic events, like the death of his adopted father, Jonathan, and the end of his relationship with Lana, who ends up shacking up with Lex.  Throughout this season has also been the threat of Zod, a kryptonian criminal returning from the Phantom Zone to conquer Earth.  Well, Zod has needed a vessel to host him, and he finds a perfect one in Lex.  Clark fails to keep Zod from possessing Lex, and from being banished to the Phantom Zone.  With Metropolis in full chaos and Zod/Lex with no none to stop him, what happens now? Drunk Year in Review

HAPPY NEW YEARRRRRR

Eliz to the beth  just posted that someone should write an end of year something and I said that I could do it while drunk and SHE said DO IT so here I am after a litre of cider, some cake vodka shots, and half a bottle of expired sangria. I haven’t had much alcohol since starting my ketogenic diet, so I have like zero tolerance now. Which is pretty sad but cost effective, I guess.

So the year in review! I’m probably the least liely person to do this because a) I have the memory of a goldfish and b) I rarely get out to do things but whatever. I’m here so let’s go! Continue reading →
