Welcome back, Arrow-heads! Some things you might want to remember going into this one: last time we saw Helena Bertinelli aka The Huntress was when she took Ollie’s cop girlfriend out of commission while trying to kill her father.  She got stopped by Arrow, and daddy Frank escaped to…somewhere.  Also, now that Laurel is going to AA and has stopped blaming everyone for her issues, she’s looking for employment.  Oh, and Slade Wilson is going to kill Ollie and everyone he knows.  Just keeping things in perspective.

arrow-00002Welcome back, Arrow-heads!  What you need to know: Moira Queen is being set up to run against Sebastian Blood for mayor of Starling City, but needs to make sure certain things stay quiet, like Thea being her and Malcolm Merlyn’s love baby.  Sara Lance has reappeared, being on the run from the League of Assassins, to supposedly help a really out of it Laurel, who’s been on hard times since getting fired from the DA’s office and maybe losing her law license.  Sara finds Laurel rather disoriented, but seeing that someone slipped a liquid into Laurel’s drinks earlier, I’m sure something else is going on here.  We got a lot of ground to cover, so let’s go… Continue reading →

Welcome back, Arrow-heads!  Sebastian Blood’s running for mayor and has just removed one problem in Laurel Lance.  Now she’s revealed to be a pill-popper and been fired from the DA’s office.  Also, Roy’s attempt to be a vigilante ends badly, which leaves Ollie as Arrow with one option: train him to control his super-anger.  After all, he did so well with Slade when he got the Mirakuru in him.  You know, the guy who’s missing an eye and nursing a serious hard-on for revenge against Ollie.  Oh right, that’s not good.  Sooo…. Welcome to 2014, Arrow-heads!  Here’s a quick recap of things that happened last time: that super drug from the island is still around, thanks to Slade being revealed as the architect of the troubles in Starling City.  That super-drug has also made its way into Roy, and Ollie’s keeping an eye on him while hunting down Brother Blood.  Too bad he doesn’t know Mr. Blood is running for mayor of the city.  Felicity gets a boyfriend, who ends up comatose thanks to a freak accident.  And Ollie gets a mask.  How does the new year start for everyone?  With a bang!
