Welcome back! So now we’re slowly winding down this recap roundup thing for the season, but we still got one more week of The Flash to talk about before we end this thing with the last few episodes of Supergirl. Before the chaos of The Flash season finale, let’s do another double recap shot of Supergirl… Continue reading →

Welcome back! Well, this is just a weird time for this column. Besides Arrow, we got only two other adjacent DCTV shows on right now (and don’t ask how we’re gonna address things when Flash ends it’s season ahead of Supergirl), so as a result, we’re doubling up on recaps for both Supergirl and Flash for now! That means a lot of ground to cover, so let’s get to it… Continue reading →

Welcome back, Arrowheads! So we’re here at the end of season six, and things are getting tough for Team Arrow. Not only have they lost both their HQs, Ricardo Diaz has solidified his hold on Star City and whatever’s left of the Quadrant. So of course Ollie has to make a Hail Mary pass by asking for help from FBI agent Samanda Watson. All she wants to give her help is to know Ollie is the Green Arrow. He confirms that, but she asks for something else. That “something else” is what we’re about to learn about. Continue reading →

Welcome back, Arrowheads! Ricardo Diaz has been spending his time grabbing control of Star City, while slowly dismantling Oliver’s team. And Ollie’s trial for being the Green Arrow seemed like it would be the deathblow. But thanks to some smart planning from Team Arrow, Ollie gets off! So Diaz decides it’s time to just forget the subtle machinations, and go to straight up bulldozing Team Arrow and everyone around them! Well, we got this and the season finale left, so we kinda had to get here. Continue reading →

Welcome back! We’re down to really the last time we’ll get to recap more than two DC TV superhero shows this season (hence the really awkward schedule coming up for the remainder of this season’s run of recaps), with The Flash, the return of Supergirl, and the season finale of Black Lightning! With that, let’s get to the recaps! Continue reading →

Welcome back, Arrowheads! Oliver Queen this season started on a big high of having a family, being Mayor of Star City, and occasionally being the Green Arrow. But now, things are just in the pits with almost all of his teammates gone on their own, him being impeached from office, and in the crosshairs of an investigation to prove he is the vigilante we all know he is. And last we left, we learned thanks to Ricardo Diaz being plugged in throughout the city, he’s going to have Ollie’s trial…about now-ish. How is he gonna get out of this mess with all those cards stacked against him? Continue reading →

Welcome back, Arrowheads! While Ricardo Diaz is consolidating power for himself in Star City and aligning himself with the criminal cadre known as The Quadrant, Team Arrow is splintered all over the place. Diggle is now working at ARGUS, the noobs are waiting for Rene to return to duty, and Oliver is on his own, waging a one man war against crime once again! Good thing for Ollie that he’s currently out of a job as a mayor right now, because he’s got a lot of work to do in taking down Diaz. Continue reading →
