I’m a little late on this weeks DVD post but in my defense I have been catching up on a few NetFlix marathons I’m behind on. Surprisingly, I have a lot of options for the letter P in my collection that I have never seen. But I opted to see the most recent one because I needed to know if what I’d heard was true/as bad as I’d been told.
Dusting Off The Shelf: Letter O
11 AprThe one DVD in my collection with an O title did not entice me this week, so I went to Amazon Prime to watch the first episode of Oz.
Dusting Off The Shelf: Letter N
4 AprAs much as I am a closet sap and enjoy a weepfest, the last two films covered that for a bit, I think. So in choosing this weeks title from my backlog of films I felt it was important to take this into account… obviously, this means zombies. Right? It’s obvious. This week I dug up a recent entry into my B movie collection- Navy Seals vs Zombies!
Dusting Off The Shelf: Letter M
28 MarI am apparently in a sappy romantic mood following that last one because this weeks DVD is Me Before You. Course, I picked a movie that needed even more kleenex than the last one. Good lord, if I keep this up, I should just buy stock in the company!
Dusting Off The Shelf: Letter L
25 MarThis week, the title hiding away on my shelf is bringing an entirely new genre to this series (I think we’ve had one from all the majors now, right?)~ musical! This week, I sat done to watch The Last Five Years. And one thing I will say… bring tissues.
Dusting Off The Shelf: Letter K
14 MarSo… I have to recover from last weeks awful piece of dreck… the palette cleanser of choice is Keanu. For obvious reasons. Or what I would call “obvious reasons”…
Dusting Off The Shelf: Letter J
7 MarGoing with something different for this installment… in my collection of DVDs, I have several of the really bad superhero movies/TV shows. So today I pulled out the 1997 TV movie, aka pilot episode, of Justice League of America.
Dusting Off The Shelf: Letter E
1 FebAnd we’re back… I’m continuing the sports trend from D, but this time I went indie- Everybody Wants Some!!. This is billed as Richard Linklater’s follow-up film to Dazed & Confused and Boyhood. Not a sequel mind you, these are different characters… but sort of a continuation of the maturation of a young man…
Dusting Off The Shelf: Letter D
25 JanFor the fourth installment I chose Draft Day. This movie has been sitting on my shelf, in my “to be watched” pile since it’s release. But much like the “to be read” pile beside my bed, that pile just keeps getting higher and higher and this one keeps getting further from the top.
Dusting Off The Shelf: Letter C
17 JanHere we go again! For the third installment, we’ll be watching Constantine. I almost chose Cellular, but since I just watched a Chris Evans film, I decided to go with this older film that I’ve had sitting on the shelf for… years. I know! I suck!
