Admittedly, it’s been a while since this video was filmed at Long Beach Comic-con last fall, but it’s never too late to share it and learn a little from an amazing comic artist and NerdLush friend. Steve Scott is probably best known as a Batman artist, prior to the “new 52”, however he has quite the library of works that he has been a part of. Why I adore Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
8 MarIt’s no secret that I am a fan of all things Whedon and Marvel, nor is it a secret that when I saw the pilot ep for S.H.I.E.L.D. at San Diego Comic Con 2013 I may have squee’d like a crazy puppy (ask my brother). But like others, I drifted over the next few episodes after the premiere last fall. I mean… I was still in for the season, but I didn’t feel the energy that I felt with the pilot.

MGM and Columbia Pictures have decided to resurrect a cult classic science fiction character in hopes of creating a new blockbuster franchise and, thanks to director José Padilha, Robocop looks primed and ready to blow through the competition. The movie stars Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jay Baruchel while Joel Kinnaman takes on the title role.

At the end of a rocky last season, things were looking up for Clark. Lana knew his secret and was all cool with it, Chloe was coming to terms with her meteor powers and her relationship with Jimmy, and the Phantom Zone escapees were all but found. But we ended this season on everything going straight into the toilet. Lana gets in a car explosion, Lex is arrested for her murder, Chloe saves a fatally injured Lois at the cost of her ending up near dead, and the last Phantom takes the form of Clark. 8 FebWell, I know you do. And that means that I’m going to use today’s post to bring something to your attention.
Well, actually, not me- my friend Travis Langley is. You may know Dr. Langley from twitter as Superherologist, or from his book “Batman and Psychology: A Dark and Stormy Knight”. I know him from both, but also as a forensic psychologist (which is my field, as well) and someone I deeply respect.
Recently, Dr. Langley has been pushing for recognition for the silent creator of the Batman. What? You didn’t know Bob Kane had help? Well, you aren’t alone!
To help get the word out about Bill Finger and his role- especially as this year would be Finger’s 100th birthday- Dr. Langley and a few others in the know are working on a kickstarter to create a documentary.

What you need to know: Moira Queen is being set up to run against Sebastian Blood for mayor of Starling City, but needs to make sure certain things stay quiet, like Thea being her and Malcolm Merlyn’s love baby. Sara Lance has reappeared, being on the run from the League of Assassins, to supposedly help a really out of it Laurel, who’s been on hard times since getting fired from the DA’s office and maybe losing her law license. Sara finds Laurel rather disoriented, but seeing that someone slipped a liquid into Laurel’s drinks earlier, I’m sure something else is going on here.
