Last month we had the opportunity to attend the third year of ZappCon. This is still a small regional convention in Central California, but since it’s first year it has grown nicely- without getting two big for its britches.

And add to that, he’s still feeling guilt over killing his corrupt baby brother, so he’s not gonna really put up much of a fight to prove his innocence. But Lyla would not like their daughter /son to grow up without a father, so she goes to Ollie to get help breaking Dig out. Will he help her? 2 SepVentured towards California’s coast over the weekend to attend the 2nd Heroes and Villains Fan Fest (HVFF) in San Jose. This is a convention that has been growing steadily since its first event a year and a half/two years ago. It was a good weekend- not perfect- and something we’d love to check out again.

Unlike our beloved NerdLush head honcho, I have not really discussed with you all my thoughts on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. So let me start off my saying that BvS is not the worst movie ever made (maybe the worst comic book movie of 2016, but that’s only SO FAR…), BUT there’s way too many pacing and story issues that don’t make it good. It’s like shoving 15 pounds of stuff into a 5 pound bag and realizing some important material fell out during the bag filling.
