Okay, walking into the midseason return of Agents of SHIELD, there were some big expectations after what went down in the first half of the season. So how did it fare? Well, how about we discuss the big points of the season and see where we are with them in this week’s new episode?

Welcome back, Arrowheads! With the mayoral campaign heating up, now Ollie and Felicity think it would be a great time to get married. Yeah, there’s going to be a few hold-ups to that, despite Felicity getting a chop that can cure her paralysis. Whether you realize it or not, everyone collects something that is important to them. As kids, we collect toys- had to have all the Star Wars toys when I was little, not to mention the “Cabbage Patch” and “Barbie” dolls I had- and sometimes that continues as adults. We may collect trading/sports cards. Or even something like stamps.

Things go from bad to worse as Stein, Atom, and Heatwave are captured, then dropped in an inescapable Russian gulag by Savage to finish the Russian Firestorm experiment. Welcome back, Arrowheads! So last week, in order to avoid a League of Assassins civil war on the streets of Star City, Team Arrow had to decide between killing Malcolm or letting Thea die. So Ollie took Malcolm’s hand and Nyssa dissolved the League, and clearly a psychopath like Malcolm understood that, right? Well, no, because he cozied up with HIVE and Damien Darhk by revealing he knows about Ollie’s secret son! Also, Darhk’s as evil wife has entered the mayoral race, and wedding bells may ring sooner than later, because Ollie and Felicity want to get to that soon! So, let’s jump in… Continue reading
To begin, Jane Austen’s literary classic, “Pride & Prejudice”, is one of my favorite books and stories. And honestly, the 90’s BBC/A&E production with Colin Firth is the film adaptation. (Do not try and convince me that the 2005 with Kiera Knightly is better- you are plain wrong, get over it) So of course I was cautious when a few years ago a book came out rehashing the story, but with zombies.
