Welcome back! In case you haven’t been following The Flash and Arrow this week, we have reached the end of a massive DCTV crossover as all our heroes face aliens known as the Dominators. Things have been dicey since the new super team has had to contend with mind controlled allies, and some of their non-metahuman players (like most of Team Arrow) being abducted. But as Ollie and company have escaped the clutches of the Dominators with the help of the Waverider, we learn we got bigger problems. Those problems being some Dominator superweapon is almost complete and they are making their way to Earth! For our heroes on this show, one big reveal is thanks to Stein’s talk to his past self, he now has a daughter! Can our heroes stop the aliens? Well, yes, obviously, but let’s see how. Welcome back! Previously: our time traveling heroes finally settled on a new captain with Sara, since it seems Rip is going to be harder to find than they thought. Nate gets injured and has to be injected with some super-serum that saves his life, and who knows what else. With all that settled, the team can get out of the Justice Society of America’s back and our of 1942. But, our Big Bad this season, the Reverse-Flash, decides to seek some revenge and murders the JSA’s Rex Tyler, who Vixen discovers, and she is not happy about this. How not happy is she? It’s season finale time, and the team has had to contend with some major reveals, like how they’ve been manipulated by the Time Masters to help Vandal Savage secure a place of power on Earth. That manipulation was to stop an alien invasion in the future, but it also went further, into Rip’s superiors ordering the death of his family! To stick it to the Time Dicks, Snart sacrifices himself to destroy their ability to look into the timeline. That still leaves Kendra and Carter prisoner of Savage, on board his own timeship. Welcome back! While we seem to have gotten Carter back, we also dropped off Vandal Savage to the Time Masters, who we have discovered are aligned in Savage’s plan for world domination! Also, the team has been detained by the Time Masters, minus a missing Snart and Sara. Rip is also locked away, and Savage lets his adversary know he has to go to a long awaited appointment to kill Rip’s family!
