Welcome back, Arrowheads! Are you finished scooping your jaw off the floor after last week’s shocker ending? Which one do I mean, you ask? No, not the one where it seems Ollie won’t be getting a second date with Felicity. I mean the one where Sara gets three arrows to the chest and is dead…again!
Smallville Minicaps / Season 10, Eps. 5-8
14 Oct
The Smallville season 10 minicaps has someone new running Watchtower, so we apologize for any late replies to your comments.
Stewart here…
Clark managed to avoid getting beamed up to wherever with Zod and the Kandorians, but still has a lot more problems to deal with on Earth. There’s the warnings of a great evil coming, and Jor-El feels Clark isn’t ready to fight it. Then there’s a shady government guy who’s tagging and monitoring superheroes. Then there’s Chloe faking her death and going into hiding. Then there’s Oliver revealing he’s Green Arrow to the public. Then there’s Lois knowing Clark’s secret unbeknownst to him. Then there’s the anti-vigilante push starting to simmer. And even then, there’s the Lex clone that Tess is secretly raising. Man, here’s hoping this round of minicaps gets him a break. ARROW Season 3×01, “The Calm” recap
4 OctWelcome back, Arrow-heads! How was your summer? Well, good news is if you lamented not being able to catch up on last season, well, Netflix has that up, so go ahead and do that. I’ll wait. Now, if you’re back, there’s not much to say except: Ollie defeated Slade, Thea has run off with Malcolm Merlyn, Quentin had a serious health problem, and Team Arrow is off to fight crime in Starling City while trying to rebuild. Also in the flashbacks, Ollie has finally gotten off the island, only to end up in Hong Kong with Amanda Waller. There’s more I should tell you about, but hey, let’s leap in…
Smallville Minicaps / Season 10, Eps. 1-4
4 Oct
The Smallville season 10 minicaps wishes it could kick back and relax for its final season, but hey, it’s got a lot of work to do.
Stewart here…
Last season, Clark Kent went through a lot of changes. He’s embracing his role as a hero in Metropolis, he’s embracing a relationship with Lois, and he’s embracing being a mentor to a bunch of kryptonians like him that have arrived on Earth. Mucking up things for Mr. Kent was Zod, whose twisted need to dominate humanity was barely stopped as the Kandorians were taken to a new home. The downside was by season’s end, Tess was left burnt and possibly dead, Oliver swarmed by some unknown force, and Clark was stabbed with a blue kryptonite dagger (which also prevented him from being sent on the Kandorians travel bus like Zod and company). Well, let’s get into the final season of Smallville, shall we, people? Continue reading

SMALLVILLE Minicaps / Season 9, Eps. 20-21 and Season Nine Highlights
28 Sep
The Smallville season 9 minicaps has been brought to you by Body by Zod. Kneel before Zod, do ab crunches before Zod…
Stewart here…
This season, Clark started a bit of a special project: to help the displaced Kandorians (well, clones of Kandorians to be fair) find a home of their own on Earth. But, there was a snag in the Kandorians’ leader, Zod. He wanted his people to rule over humanity and because of this, went a little bit nuts. Like “accidentally killed his wife and unborn child and then lied about it to jump start the domination of humanity”. So, Clark has to contend with a small gaggle of people with his super powers, while finding a mythical kryptonian artifact, the Book of Rao, that could have the power to stop this.
Before I forget, Checkmate is in ruins, the mysterious Red Queen is still out there, and Lois and Clark are out of jobs. Soooo, that just about covers it. Let’s see how this season ends… Continue reading

The fall season of TV starts once again, and Monday and Tuesday brought several nerd-related shows back on the air, along with a possible new addition to the ranks. 22 SepSo tonight is the premiere of FOX’s Gotham. Good things have been said since the pilot ep played at SDCC in July.

SMALLVILLE Minicaps / Season 9, Eps. 16-19
16 SepStewart here…
Last we left everyone, we had a few surprises. One was Chloe and Oliver becoming way more than just friends, if you know what I mean. Another comes when Clark saved Zod from dying with some of his super blood. I’m sure Zod feels grateful for that, except now he’s using the Blur’s secret identity to get Lois to unwillingly spy on everyone. Oh, and he can fly. Barely a few hours with powers, and he can fly. That happened. So let’s see how that and that mysterious group Checkmate fit into things in this installment… Continue reading
