Welcome back, Arrowheads! Team Arrow is technically branching out, although not by choice. Curtis, Dinah, and Rene decide to strike out on their own from the original flavor Team Arrow, and maybe not at the best time. We learn our big baddie Cayden James has an all-star line-up of baddies behind him on his plan to destroy Oliver for the death of his son (and who is that, exactly?). Now with Diggle able to go back to work with that chip in his arm, maybe Team Arrow has good odds to stop all of this before it gets worse? Continue reading →

Welcome back! With a new year comes aslight change in schedule. With Legends of Tomorrow off until February and Supergirl taking a hiatus in a month or so does throw things off a bit. But luckily we got a full slate with the returns of Supergirl and The Flash, and the premiere of Black Lightning! So let’s jump into things with the newest superhero show on the block… Continue reading →

Welcome back from the holidays, Arrowheads! As you know, Team Arrow started their Christmas in disarray as a lot of stuff came out into the open, like Dinah still seeing her not dead murderous boyfriend, and Rene being revealed as the informant in the FBI case against Oliver Queen. This causes the newbies to walk away from the Team, only leaving our original flavor Team Arrow to handle the sinister Cayden James. And they have quite a fight on their hands, as James has put together a legion of baddies to deal with things, like Black Siren, Anatoly, Ricardo “Dragon”, and Dinah’s not dead murderous boyfriend! So, welcome to the new year! Continue reading →

By now, hopefully, you have all read Stewart’s write-ups about the recent CW DCTV crossover extravaganza, Crisis on Earth-X. But I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it (trust me, it’s so much better to think about then some of the stuff I hear at work), and since the DCTV shows are about to come back from hiatus…
Basically I need to say this- that was some damn epic TV.
Let’s just assume, from this point on that spoilers will be contained within this post…

Stewart here…
As the latest installment in the Star Wars series hits theaters, it’s clear that this has become divisive in a way that The Force Awakens wasn’t. Instead of complaining about the familiar steps that Force Awakens takes, some fans are now complaining about the exact opposite in The Last Jedi. For my money, and as I’ll discuss here, there are things about the movie that I have trouble with, but they are not deal breaking type things that some fans have lost their marbles over. I honestly loved this movie for veering out of just being a retread of the previous movies, while also doing something that’s been hard to do (at least successfully in my view): make an original Star Wars film. But let’s just get to some broad non-spoilers related stuff before jumping into all the spoilery goodness… Continue reading →

Welcome back, Arrowheads! So unless you were busy the last two weeks, Team Arrow was involved in helping fight interdimensional Nazis and a mirror universe evil Ollie! Oh, and also, Ollie and Felicity had an impromptu wedding (you can read more on that here)! But let’s get back to pressing matters in Arrowland, like Ollie being indicted for being the Green Arrow, and how would the FBI know that? Just how, I wonder? Continue reading →

Welcome back! As you know last week, we had a huge eventful crossover with all the DC TV shows from the CW, and we’re back just in time for the midseason finales. So before the Winter break, let’s check in on Supergirl, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow! Continue reading →

Welcome back to the big crossover event, Crisis on Earth-X! Before we get started with the final half of this, let’s discuss what happened previously. You got interdimensional Nazis breaking up Barry and Iris’ wedding, and why has this happened? Because they come from Earth-X, a reality where the Nazis won WWII, and right now they are lead by…the evil doppleganger of Oliver Queen! And the evil doppleganger of Kara is his wife! And Eobard Thawne (the one we all know) is among them! Continue reading →

Welcome back, and boy did you drop in at the right time! This week, we got two nights and four shows worth of recaps to give you! As a result, we’re merging the regular Arrow weekly recap into this one (so don’t expect that to come back until next week’s winter finale), and since we are going to have a lot of ground to cover, this part will only cover the first night, with episodes of Supergirl and Arrow. So without further ado, let’s jump into all the fun! Continue reading →
