ARROW Season 6×01, “Fallout” recap

AND welcome back, Arrowheads! Last season saw a lot of drama happen, as Oliver Queen became the new mayor of Star City. I mean, there was drama regarding budget plans, gun control, how to revitalize the city, and…what else? Oh yeah, a maniac called Prometheus, hiding in Ollie’s own midst as District Attorney Adrian Chase, was waging a physical and psychological vendetta against Ollie and Team Arrow. This lead to a big showdown between Team Arrow and Prometheus on the island of Lian Yu, and Ollie saving his son. Of course, this doesn’t save the Team, his friends, and his baby momma as Prometheus kills himself, setting off hundreds of bombs on the island’s surface! So who survived this mess? Read on…

Welcome back, Arrowheads! It’s season finale time, and last time we were all here, we got quite a setup. Ollie was put in the unenviable position to free our season’s big bad, Adrian Chase, when Adrian’s associates kidnapped all of Team Arrow, even his hidden son! Discovering Adrian had made his way to Lian Yu to setup some final confrontation between the two, Ollie knew he had to get some help, and enlisted Malcolm Merlyn and Nyssa al Ghul. But once they all got to the island, he still had to get one more hand to help him in this fight: the imprisoned Deathstroke/Slade Wilson! Welcome back, Arrowheads! We’re on the tail end of the season, and it seems we are going out on a good note. The big bad of the season, Adrian Chase, has been captured and imprisoned, which I’m sure is a relief to everyone in Team Arrow. So I guess there’s no big city ending threat this season and the next two episodes is gonna be the gang just kicking back and enjoying some quiet time catching up with their favorite books or TV shows.

What they don’t know is our Big Bad for the season is Star City’s own District Attorney, Adrian Chase! This helpful yet mildly unstable public servant has a beef with Ollie, and may have another connection to Ollie’s past: being trained by the woman who helped him become the Hood, Talia Al Ghul! Meantime, Felicity is getting in deeper with the computer hacking group HELIX, and Ollie’s current girlfriend, Susan, may have just gotten herself in trouble with Adrian. Welcome back, Arrowheads! So we’ve had this whole Prometheus stuff hanging over this season, and now, it looks like Prometheus just launched another wave of pain against Oliver Queen. Besides leaking that hidden autopsy report on Billy to the police, our baddie also leaked it to the press, which could lead to the end of Ollie’s term as mayor of Star City! Also, Thea’s starting to remind Ollie of Mama Queen (and not in the best way, since Thea pretty much destroyed Susan’s career) and Felicity is really liking all that info she got from the mysterious Helix.
