Welcome back, Arrowheads! Quentin Lance really needs to take a break. Look at what he had to contend with last episode: finding out his daughter Sara’s alive (if slightly crazy), having Ollie discover his alliance with Damien Darhk, and to help redeem him, Ollie makes him a double agent to report on Darhk. It’s a good thing he hasn’t heard Sara has escaped from her basement prison in Laurel’s apartment building. Also, what’s with Ray Palmer’s hidden message to Felicity? Continue reading

Welcome back, Arrowheads! Hey, great news, everyone! Sara’s alive! Sure, she’s been dead for months and thanks to the Lazarus Pit has to be chained up to avoid her attacking everyone, but, she’s alive! Also, Oliver’s running for mayor of Star City! And Felicity has problems with her cell phone! Granted that last part doesn’t seem important, but…SARA’S ALIVE! Daddy Lance is gonna be so happy to hear this! Continue reading

Welcome back, Arrowheads! Team Arrow is facing a new enemy in HIVE, led by mystical baddie Damien Darhk, but also faces their own set of troubles, like Ollie and Diggle still being a bit guarded to each other. But there’s the big problem in Team Arrow of Thea having some murderous impulses thanks to her time in the pit. Laurel suggests taking her away for some rest, but what she doesn’t tell everyone else is she’s taking Thea to Nanda Parbat to get help from Thea’s dad. Oh, and to complete the girls’ vacation out, they dig up Sara’s corpse! It’s like Weekend at Bernie’s with super heroines! But since Sara’s corpse is being taken to be resurrected in the Lazarus Pit, its more like Weekend at Bernie’s 2…with super heroines. Sounds fun! Continue reading

Should we give Gotham season 2 a chance?

26 Sep

The second season of FOX’s Gotham premiered this week. The series presents a path towards the creation of DC’s “Batman” by introducing the characters of Jim Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Bruce Wayne, Alfred Pennyworth, and Dr. Leslie Tompkins; and the future Batman villains Riddler, Penguin, Catwoman, and others. The first season proved to be worthy of the fanbase- to some. Personally, I told myself I’d give it to the winter hiatus to catch me and then move on. I mean, I like Batman and Gordon has always been an intriguing character. So… yeah.

The thing is, the episode right before hiatus… it was really good. So I came back after the holidays hoping for more. But it took 10 episodes to get there! Why is that? Continue reading

Stewart here…

Clark managed to avoid getting beamed up to wherever with Zod and the Kandorians, but still has a lot more problems to deal with on Earth. There’s the warnings of a great evil coming, and Jor-El feels Clark isn’t ready to fight it. Then there’s a shady government guy who’s tagging and monitoring superheroes. Then there’s Chloe faking her death and going into hiding. Then there’s Oliver revealing he’s Green Arrow to the public. Then there’s Lois knowing Clark’s secret unbeknownst to him. Then there’s the anti-vigilante push starting to simmer. And even then, there’s the Lex clone that Tess is secretly raising. Man, here’s hoping this round of minicaps gets him a break.
