Welcome back, Arrowheads! Last we left John Diggle, his return to the military hit a sizable end when he was framed for a crime he did not commit. And add to that, he’s still feeling guilt over killing his corrupt baby brother, so he’s not gonna really put up much of a fight to prove his innocence. But Lyla would not like their daughter /son to grow up without a father, so she goes to Ollie to get help breaking Dig out. Will he help her? Obviously the answer is “probably”, but what about his new team and all that trouble with Tobias Church? And hey, what’s up with the Patrick Batman-esque D.A.? Some of those answers are coming up… Continue reading

ARROW Season 5×03, “A Matter Of Trust” recap
20 OctWelcome back, Arrowheads! Last we left Ollie, he got himself a brand new team to help fight crime, and that’s, well, gonna take some work to get working like Original Team Arrow. Speaking of the Original Flavor Team, Thea has hired the not-quite sober Quentin to be the deputy mayor and Diggle finds himself in military prison framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Before you can say “how can things get worse?”, did we mention one of Ollie’s recruits lost their family thanks to a nuclear bomb Felicity sent their way? So, let’s settle in to see what happens… Continue reading →

ARROW Season 5×02, “The Recruits” recap
13 OctWelcome back, Arrowheads! Now that Ollie is busy being the Mayor of Star City, he kind of needs a new Team to help take the load of fighting crime. And that’s good, because crime boss Tobias Church and some mystery bad guy are looking to cause serious trouble. With Thea happy to remain sans costume and Diggle serving overseas, Ollie doesn’t have many options. Also, we all remember that city that was accidentally nuked last season? Just keep that in mind.

ARROW Season 4×23, “Schism” recap
26 MayWelcome back, Arrowheads, for the season finale! With that underground HIVE complex being destroyed, it looks like Damien Darhk’s plan to rebuild the world after burning it clean with nuclear fire has hit a massive snag. But with his wife dead, he’s down to zero craps about that and seems to just want to lay waste to humanity anyway. His first stop: going to Ollie’s loft, where Felicity, Donna, and Curtis really don’t want to receive this evil gentleman caller… Continue reading →

ARROW Season 4×22, “Lost In The Flood” recap
19 MayWelcome back, Arrowheads! When last we left Team Arrow, they were trying to prevent Damien Darhk’s plan for global Armageddon! While they prevented wholesale death, they weren’t able to prevent a small town of thousands from getting vaporized. Bad news, since Darhk has now collected those souls to give him super dark powers now. Meanwhile in Darhk’s suburban ark, Thea just lost another boyfriend, this time at the hands of crazy Speedy super fan Lonnie Machin/Anarky. And Felicity is having to deal with her hacker criminal daddy, Noah, being back in the scene. Oh, and A TOWN IN THE U.S. JUST GOT NUKED. Just saying, we got priorities bigger than family crap. ARROW Season 4×17, “Beacon of Hope” recap
31 MarWelcome back, Arrowheads! So Felicity has broken up with Ollie, only to go to another level by leaving Team Arrow. Damien Darhk is looking at a trial, so how’s that going to go for HIVE’s big “Genesis” plan? And have you lost interest in the flashbacks this season like I have? Suppose we should get that out of the way…
