Happy Birthday to me! Last year I merely shared a pic of me with my nieces and left it at that.

This year… let’s talk about the other important things that’ve happened on my day-

*This is the day Abraham Lincoln was assassinated.

*This is the day the Titanic hit the iceberg, though it sank on the 15th.

*I share my birthday with, among others-

*Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley announces plans to divorce

*1,100,000,000th Chinese born

*Dungeons & Dragons was copyrighted

*American planes bombed Tokyo and damaged the Imperial Palace (1945)

If you wander the internets looking for important facts for the day, there are a lot more political or literary things that occur than nerdy. That’s OK. I’ve got a few good ones in the list above. Also, a lot of hockey events. Particularly with the Blackhawks. Interesting.

Now that I’ve said all this… let’s remember that today is all about ME.
