Dusting Off The Shelf: Letter R

I’m back. Did you miss me? I had to take a break because I had no Q’s! But our Stewart helped out. And I laughed so hard at the review he shared. Anyways, I had a few R’s to choose from but I was in a mood today and chose Rise of the Guardians.

Synopsis: Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and the Sandman have to join forces with Jack Frost in order to defeat the Boogeyman from snuffing out the innocent magic of children’s belief.

Why I chose this film: Well, like I said, I wasn’t in the mood for some of the other titles I could’ve watched. I kind of wanted something light and simple, if that makes sense. Now, originally, I wanted to see it because I adore animated films. And then with the voice talents of Hugh Jackman and Chris Pine… I was in my happy place. But things came up and I hadn’t gotten around to seeing this until now.

Will I watch it again: Yes. And if you couldn’t tell by the bold, I will probably watch this regularly. I quite enjoyed the characters and the dialogue. Especially the tooth fairies going gaga over Jack. That was cute.

Why you should watch it too (or run far away!): Do you like animated films? Then watch it. If that’s not your thing, give it a viewing anyways, it’s fun.
