So it’s that time of year where we must reflect on the new fall television series and determine which ones are worth watching. I, personally, have not watched very many new ones- and certainly not for more than one or two episodes- so I am very interested to hear opinions.
Shall we begin?
This may be my guilty pleasure for the season. I cannot say anything about redeeming values for this series… but there is Jonathan Rhys Meyers. And he’s frequently shirtless or more, so there’s that. Yet… I tune in and LOVE it.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I don’t think it’s a surprise that I love this one. It isn’t perfect. But… every episode does take it one step closer. Though, I will say I was very disappointed by the second episode’s failure to distinguish between Mayan and Incan… but that’s me nitpicking.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
I actually haven’t watched this one yet. I initially heard from a source that it was weird and maybe not watchable. But then I was told by someone else that it is fabulous. So which is it? Should I actually catch up on the eps saved on my DVR?
You’re with me on this, right? Right??
The Tomorrow People
OK, this one hasn’t premiered yet (two night event starts on November 17th), but I enjoyed the pilot so much at SDCC that I’m still sitting on the edge of my seat to see how it goes and if it can keep me in that zone.
Are you waiting for this one?
OK… so what are your shows? I know there are plenty that I haven’t even given a chance… tell me why I should!
