200th post! OMG! What should we talk about???

Glory be! We’ve hit the 200th post! What the heck am I gonna talk about today?

I was recommended the topic of TV shows that’ve hit 200 episodes-

There… in no particular order and by no means all of the shows that have reached this landmark, but a pretty decent list. Ya know… it feels pretty good to have met this goal ourselves.

I do want to mention that many of the shows on this list are from back when there were really only the Big 3 networks… nowadays there are so many stations, it’s really tough to get a high number of shows. Another thing I find interesting is that of the recent shows on the list- many fall into the style of legal procedural; thus have a formula that the episodes follow. Now, there’s nothing wrong with that- I enjoy many of those shows. But… if I miss an episode, it really doesn’t mean I’ve missed anything.

yeah, I miss this show. Shush.

Ya know… I feel the need to marathon Smallville again…

Funny you should mention Smallville, since its among the short list of shows I’m thinking of capping here next.

  Well then… perhaps I shall catch up on Supernatural and hold off on Smallville to watch if you recap it. Though… if you’re gonna do all 10 years… we’ve found the next 3 years of posts 😉

    Thinking about a poll on the Facebook site (here’ll do too) to see which show that’ll be. Got a few candidates a little shorter than Smallville. Might put Supernatural into the running.
