While I absolutely love attending San Diego Comic Con, this year real life has kept me at home and watching the news online for all the latest nerd tidbits.
Huge benefit of this? No ConCrud. Also, there’s never a line for the bathroom. And there’s a distinct lack of “nerd funk” to be smelled.
The downside is that I’m at home and missing the onsite presentations, the costumes, and all the friends.
Not sure it’s a fair trade but I’ll take it.
This year.
For those also playing along at home, we’ve been collecting some of our favorite bits of news from SDCC over on the Facebook page. There were some great tidbits posted about Arrow, Batman vs Superman, the DC television empire, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., cosplay, comics, as well as bits of social and psychological fun, like the bullying panel that occurred earlier today.
I don’t miss any of it! 😀
i miss my con friends. and the silly fun of some of the panels. but the crowds… nope.
